The alliance was one of the few on beta which is still recognised as an entity which stood for server balance. This should be considered when selecting your next construction project. The alliance which no longer exists was formed for the purpose of mutual protection and brotherhood between its member guilds. It's made to be played "offline" as in set up some stuff and come back to it later to check on it and make changes/react to events and other players. Bases are the core of your empire in AstroEmpires. In the end the game is not designed to be played the way you are trying to play it. I would bring the timer down to 1 minute if I could but the turn flip itself takes several seconds or more depending on how many players are in it.

The game was designed to have an actual turn based system to get away from that but like you mention there is a problem with ANYTHING you do taking at LEAST 10 minutes to see a result. There has to be some sort of consistency of "time" so players can interact with the same events. Battles are instantaneous on the second they arrive and there is no reinforcing or retreating etc. The problem with those games is that your units aren't really moving on a board so much as they are magically warping when the timer is up. Some things can be made to take 12 seconds and others 18 minutes. The normal type of system for games like this is the "tick" system where every action you do get's it's own little timer to completion. Some product types are in a single drop-down, and some are divided into category/sub-category it's kinda confusing need tooltips I have to guess their meaning right now The Corporate Overview graph is confusing the red Balance line dropped me below $0 when I had >$12k I'm sure most of these things are clear to a person with any knowledge of finance, but I'm a layman maybe have a little icon next to most things that shows a tooltip simply explaining them? Also, I think the colorful icons representing Structures, Military, Products, Cargo Space, Speed, etc. I'm not sure things like Events, Companies, Battles and Guilds belong in the "Corporate" tab, which seems to have more to do with your specific corporation maybe split it into two categories? It would be fun (not sure how feasible though) to have a real-time chat available, maybe divided into per-planet/city/system channels?

Lots of places need units for example, the viewscreen says: "Industry Num: 683" 683 what? Industries? :) The tutorial is fine, but some contextual, per-screen help would be nice Tables are sort of inconsistent - some places need units (like the Accounting table) and sorting by column
